Welcome to Penswick Studio Pottery

I make all of my work by hand, some of the platters and modelling start with slabs of clay, but mostly I work on the wheel using hand made attachments for instance birds, fish and handles. I aspire to the immortal words of William Morris "Have nothing in your home that is not functional or that you do not believe to be beautiful" and love to think of my pots being used, a hand cradling a mug of hot chocolate on a cold winters evening or a butter dish waiting on the table.
